XFXScorpio911 was pronounced dead at approximately 1:20pm on The 13th of October 2007
The computer had been exhibiting bizarre behaviour for some time
In an Attempt to locate the source the problem the Mobo expansion card was removed and examined
When it was replaced, plugged in, and powered up
It burst ablaze
A regulator failed and a smell of burning silicon filled the room
A full damage report is expected later this week
All components presumed over-volted (dead)
Now thats sounds cool.
Had my pc explode two or three times. Damn PSU’s.
holy crap dude that’s bad news. I had some really cool sound effects during a game of BF2 a few months ago - I was on Strike at Karkand and heard what sounded like a river trickling passed as I stroled along my AK47u in hand. Then I realised there IS no water on that level….
Well there was but it was inside my PC…
Hence I left Socket 939 behind and made the move to 775!
