Hi guyz and girls again. Wazhim here. Raedf the review of the 4850 Seems awesome. But, I don’t know which will be powerful enought to power my crap dvico hd tuner. I have the 2 2600pros in crossfore and it only just transmits capital, sbs, and abc properly. The 2 other stationx(win and prime) only just get a picture then, it deosn’t play back smoothly at all(this is in canberra, australia). I am really pissed off by this. Using am internal boosted aerial. How powerful does my vid crad/cards haveto be to drive it.
I have read everywehere in posts on cpc articles, that a single 8800gt(512mb?) will be more powerful than my 2600s. What about hd playback?decodiong(hd tuner card)?.
Which one is best for that. Even if getting a 8800gt is better, I can’t afford it now. I was thinking a 8600gt(would it be crap?) Or, a 3650. Would it be good enough?
I only have eniough moiney to spend 140-160 AUD. My second ati 2600 pro cost that much(160).
So, what should I do? I want to keep my tuner card.
