Now i have some proper pictures to show. Details on what i have done in the previous post.
Components:
Intel E2160 @ 3.618 max overclock
Asus P5KC with pencil mod
2 GB OCZ pc6400
ATI 1950 pro
Hiper 530 watt
Coolermaster CM 690
Water cooling parts:
D-tek fusion with nozzle
MCR320 radiator
MCRRes resevoir
Swiftech D5 pump
7/16″ tubing
Distilled water

Now for some pictures. (click to see the hole thing)
This is the hole i made for my sata cables and front panel connectors (panel connectors and sata cables need to be sleeved black)
This is the hole i made to run cables from my fan controller behind the bays and out of sight, i couldnt put rubber edging on the bottom because of the CD drive, so it looks a bit sloppy, but you cant see this with the panel on
I have tried to keep all my mess out of sight.
The hole made to hide the pump.
Rear fan grill cut out, improved air flow
The high CFM front intake fan
The lower intake fan, grills cut out.
6 pin GPU sleeved
Custom fan controller
This is the system
I cut the side panel using my dremel, the top half is fitted with clear acrylic, the bottom is fitted with ACRyan honeycomb mesh.
I
nice case ![]()
the pictures are great detail, what megapixel camera you use ??
also you could put a idfferant colour water in there, but clear is still good since no one else has done it yet (as of were i can see)
also the 3 fans at the top should give you plenty of air power! ![]()
Thanks pal, the camera im using is a Fuji S5100, 4 MP i think.
Im going to keep the water clear for now, im not into UV colours at the moment.
And the fans at the top are all 80 CFM, they have a lot of power on high, but i run them @ 5 V pretty much alla time
Thanks for the comment ![]()
Nice work, given me a few ideas how to progress with my own rig.
BTW, how did you go about the pencil mod on your P5KC?
I’m curious, because I have the same mobo and have problems overclocking any higher atm due to the vdroop thing.
Did you check it properly with a multimeter, or just ’suck it and see’?
That looks really good. Do you fancy adding your system to other watercooled one at www.watercoolingmatrix.net? Just need your spec and a link to this blog!
That is one very sick mod…you are awesome! I still dont know nuts abt water cooling.
