After cutting my arylic to the right size and putting the 120mm hole in I needed to make flush with the front bezel. So after another trip to halfords I had my bodyfiller.
Unfortunatly I forgot to take pictures of when i was using and applying the first coat of white =( . Here is what it used to look like.
This is what is looks like now
Very nice!
I also used the bodyfiller to fill the gap gaps in the nose cone
You can see where the arylic was bonded
The theme I choose for this mod was ice so naturaly i needed a paint job to match.
After about an hour and half cutting and sticking masking tape i had the design marked out. The colour I used was a ford crystal blue which i got from Halfords it was slightly darker that i had wanted but it turned out OK.
The next step will be for me to ude some body filler to blend the arylic with the front panel and sand it using my sander
At long last i’ve started my mod. This computer is a replacement for my old one (shown above) which i have had for about 4 years now. I wanted the PC to be small but powerful so the i needed a case that could take a full sized psu, i went for the Asus TM982 m-atx case. It isn’t a bad case but the only problem as that the right side panel can’t be removed.
My first job was to mask the case ready for painting. After that i cracked on and applied three coast of white gloss which i bought for £3.50 from my local DIY store
After that i marked out the outline for window

Then with the jigsaw i borrowed jigsaw i cut out the window
With the windows cut i set out about cutting the holes in the case the first one is in the bottom of the case where im going to mount the two 120mm fans on a radgrill from a.c.ryan
The second of these holes is for a 120mm fan that im going to mod to make it into a turbine
After getting my supplies from specialtech.com i cut out the window panel and the hole for the fan
The window panel
The fan hole
Asus A8v-vm motherboard

Philps Soild burn DVD-RW
Asus Geforce 7300
Maxtor DaimondMax 80GB
350W Aopen psu
As you can see the spec are pretty bad saving up for some up-dates
this is a idea ive had for a while now about building micro atx mod, I plan to use asus’ tm982
