Today the RAM came and we put it in. It lookes brilliant because we put a red LED on it. I also put on the stickers that came with the processor. There is a scorpian, a spider and a tribal thingy, all of which have 64’s on them (because the processor is 64 bit). The scorpian is on the the front panel, the spider on the side and the tribal on the top. I would quiet like to engrave them in at a later date, but my dad dosen’t do extreme mods (like water cooling, not that I need it). We had to go down to Maplin to get a GPU for the Luna. We got a XFX GeForce 7100gt. We also had ordered a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit a couple of days ago, but when we tried to install it, disaster struck. I pluged in the monitor and nothing happened. It just displayed no video input. I changed the monitor and it was exactly the same, no video input. I was up to 11 o’clock tring everything, from the RAM configuration to the PCIE slots. Nothing. Didly Squit. But then I had a look at the POST LCD on the back of the motherboard. It was saying CPU INIT which, acording to the manual, stands for CPU initialisation. Please comment if you no what it meanes. I presume that the graphics card is stuffed. The funny thing is, exactly the same thing happened the the other PC we are building. Maybe the PCIE slot on the old motherboard is broken and has damaged the old and new cards. I dunno.
