The latest game in the far cry series has finally arrived and well it isn’t exactly what you would call a solid relationship between gamers and pc’s. For one if you are even getting anywhere near to playing it at it highest quality and potential you gonna need an expensive and capable pc rig to run it!
My pc spec suggestions:
If you are on windows xp here is the bare minimum you will need to run this game at it highest quality(please note! you can only get high in windows xp to get very high option you will need windows vista!)

nvidia 6800 or 8800gt graphics card-depending on how much quality you want?
For windows vista(Please note! if you have windows vista to achieve very high setting option you will at least need this kind of setup!)

Although there has been no speak of crysis ever coming to console such as the ps3 or xbox360 if it did it would be very unlikely you would achieve very high quality on any of these consoles!
I have this game myself i have achived high setting quality, but people have posted in numerous forums, that by editing certain scripts/game cfg files you can achieve some of the very high quality you would get on windows vista but you would not get everything up to very high because when you use crysis on windows vista it uses directx 10 which is not currenly available for windows xp.
Also it has been rumoured that microsoft on purpose made the game so you can only achieve very high quality setting on vista, so that means majority of people would buy windows vista just to achieve this setting, and obviously microsft will make more money out of it.
To be honested though i would not suggest getting windows vista to soon due to there are still some hardware and software issue’s with the operating system.
