BTW. I have half-term on friday for 2 weeks so no progress during then (maybe some soldering only)

Well, this has been in the works for a while, and only now has the pressure of overwhelming coursework been lifted, so I got a bit of work done.
I used a Generic ATX case I had lying around, did get any piccies, but suffice to say it looked like this:

First thing, i sanded the bugger. And it was a pain. Stupid dents. Again though no piccies.

Well I cut out a side window and painted it black.

Sorry for the bad quality, but I had to use my phone. The dark red is the red acrylic for the window which I stuck in with some tape for the time being. I drilled holes for a 120mm fan but left the protective cover on. Later, I’ll cut out the fan hole and cover it with some fine aluminum mesh.

Then I began cutting the other side panel, with this design.

The school CNC machine being small isn’t rated to cut such a large panel, so I had to use a dremel.
1 and 1/2 discs later…and I’m not even close to finished.

Here’s a shot of that whole side.

Next I’ll finish that side and paint it black. Then cover the cutout with mesh(painted dark red hopefully).

Still to do is the front door and facisa and the top both of which will be totally custom. The former roof will form a base for the PSU to sit on and for fitting the wiring box, and hopefully a dual 120 rad.

Oh and BTW, if anyone wants to donate any stuff for the PC I’ll be glad to accept it, old CPUS, busted Heatsinks, tubing, etc. Just mail me: hothead4@hotmail.co.uk (please:D)
