Reason Behind the build

I’m from the UK but working in the Philippines, what I’ve discovered is it’s very hard to purchase high end components here. Although you can still get some good stuff, it’s limited. So after deciding to build myself a new PC, I started reading through various sites and articles and came up with a wish list, only to find that out of all the bits and bobs only 3 was available locally. So rather than build something I’m not going to be 100% happy with, I’m going to go ahead and build my PC with internationally acquired parts. However I’m fairly new to PC building (Only done 3 before) so I’m a little scared I’ve got it wrong and about to make a costly mistake, considering my list totals to about 3,000 pounds not including transport costs. So here is my wish list and if anyone has comments or suggestions please post. I know I could buy a pre-build system but that’s not the point.
