Face plate

Small update with this afternoons work and a couple of pics.

Have managed to get the radiator fan holes marked up and cut out of the face plate.

You can see the router we used to round the edges of the cuts to give a nice finish.

 Face plate then attached to the rest of the plug. When the glue is dried (tomorrow) will use the router to round off the edges of the cube and then give it all a coat of varnish in preperation for a mould to be taken.

Good job Sam! Fibreglassing is annoying, its lucky you got someone who does it for a career! Nice one! Im having to make some speaker moulds for my car over the next few weeks. Should be a laugh.

Its looking good so far, did you route the holes yourself?

p.s. the quality of the initial shape will depict on the quality of the mould etc, so make it good!
