Well I have bought myself some paints and things to go with it:

So I have 500ml of Grey Primer, 500ml of filler primer, 600ml of Rover Brooklands Green, assorted 240-1200 grit wet and dry and some 1500 grit aswell just to make sure. (I know I will need more paint in the end, but this is at least a start)
Anyway, now onto the priming before the painting:

This is the filler primer.

After that I found some of the cracks and marks on the surface and put a bit of filler over them to smooth them out, once that was all sanded down it was time for some grey prime:

So that is it so far, there are still some marks in the primer so I will take a bit more filler to it and one coat more of grey primer should be enough and then onto the green.

A prize? W00T! Seriously though, this one’s looking good - any progress on it?
Well, I’m actually about to go back to work on it hopefully. It got a bit too cold for painting outdoors and I ran out of dremel disks to do some of the cutting I wanted to do, but I should have time to get back to it now.
