Here is what we had to work with in no particular order

First up we had a 2900XT and a AMD 64 5000+ black edition, although the 5000+ Black edition is not the best AMD option it offers great value for money as well as a unlocked multiplier. The 2900XT well it is no slouch either. For more information on these products click here for the 2900XT and here for the Black Edition.
So the brains and muscle of the project is now there let’s move onto the body…. Oops were am I taking you lot…. This is not a Science lesson, I meant lets move onto the mobo

MSI were chosen for the board and a K9A platinum was sourced for the project, this board offers another good value for money option. As well as being reliable. Based on the Xpress 3200 chipset aka RD580, so more than ample for the project, For more information on this product click here

OCZ PSU ModXStream 780w and a set of OCZ Reaper 1066 crossfire edition are the power and memory going in this project to make sure we had a solid system. For more information on these products click here for the ModXstream 780w and here for the OCZ 1066 reapers, Next up Hard Drives

Of course having an acrylic UV case meant the rig will be see through and A RaptorX would be needed to be the main HDD, I mean all this lovely equipment for the mod, then putting a normal HDD on show would not do. WD supplied a RaptorX and a 320gig HDD for storage. For more information on these products click here for the RaptorX and here for the 320gig caviar SE16 HDD

Finally we finish off the hardware side with the Pioneer Blue ray combi Sata Drive, a pretty good option for those of you with media centers or that watch a lot of movies on your PC, It doesn’t burn blue ray but plays it and also acts as a DVD RW so you get the best of both worlds.
